First week of summer:
Started well. I went and laid by the pool and had fun times with the step sisters and the neice. I barbaqued with the family. I started work a day early. I like the people I work with this summer more than I did when I worked there last summer. Whole new crew. This week has felt like it was two weeks long. I worked over 40 hours had one day off. But whatever I don’t care. I am getting sick. I feel like I might have reached the apex of it today though. So hopefully it will only get better. I have no one to hang out with in Avondale. I hate it out here. It is boring, there is nothing to do…ever. My only friends live in Tucson and Mesa. This summer is going to be a long one. What with school and with working. This work is different than the Highland work.
There are two pregnant girls that work there. One dropped out of high school because apparently there was too much drama. Now she is dating this other kid that works with us and she is dumb. The other one…I dunno man. I was training her and I was like “this isn’t rocket science, you should catch on very quickly” she responded with “oh, I wasn’t good at science….” I am sure that one of the managers there doesn’t like me but I think it is only because I am a guy…because I haven’t given her any reason to dislike me. I have made friends with this girl Cece…haha. She is nice. We both hate the first of the two pregnant girls. Then there are these other two that work there…they are apparently best friends. They go to Scottsdale Culinary School, and all they talk about is how “chef this” “chef that” “did YOU burn that pan today?!” ”NO NEVER!!” Ugh shut up.
I don’t see one of my step sisters, she is always gone. Whatever.
My neice…I don’t even know what to say.
My other neice, she has issues saying my name. When she goes to say it she says “Bunny”. She is adorable. She gets so shy around me. It’s funny.
